The Canadian Light Sport Aircraft Association (CLSAA) adheres to the highest standards in assuring the privacy of all its members. All information relating to a member’s account, transactions, and correspondence are handled with discretion internally.
Protecting your Personal Information
Any personal information collected by CLSAA is for the purposes of creating a membership profile. The required information is kept to a minimum, with additional optional details requested to help us get to know our members better. Members voluntarily and knowingly submit relevant personal details in order to purchase a membership, gain access to member-only areas of the CLSAA website, and receiving member-only correspondence and benefits from CLSAA.
We collect no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. We do not use techniques that collect personal information about you without your knowledge. When you browse our web sites, you are anonymous and no personal information is being collected.

CLSAA uses credit card numbers submitted to us through our web sites for payment purposes only, and not for marketing purposes. We utilize industry standard secure encryption technology to reasonably assure the privacy and security of the credit card numbers of anyone who purchases a membership through us.
By purchasing a membership, you are entitled to receive correspondence from CLSAA. If you send us an email message, we may retain that message and your email address, as well as any response we send you.
Opting Out by Email
Receiving correspondence is optional. You may opt out of being included in our mailing list, even after granting prior permission, by sending us an email to email@example.com.

CLSAA membership is available to anyone over the age of majority in Ontario, 18 years of age. No personal data will be collected from minors, however a parent or guardian is welcome to hold the membership on behalf of a minor.
